Field notes from a week of walking
Test post three. A demo of images, quotes, lists and headings.
Demo post to preview images and rich text. It will be removed.
I spent a week walking a new city with no plan except to notice things. This is what stuck.

Late light on the walk back from the market.
Three things I noticed
- People walk slower when the streets are built for walking, not driving.
- The best food was always in the places with no sign out front.
- Curiosity compounds. Every conversation pointed to the next one.
The point of travel isn't to see new places. It's to see your own life from far enough away to notice it.
What I'm bringing home
- Walk first, plan second.
- Ask one more question than feels polite.
- Write it down the same day, or it's gone.

The view from the last morning's hike.
On running a company from the road
A short note on work: the business ran fine without me in the room. That's the real test of a team. If you want to read more about how we set that up, here's how we think about it at Solo Media Group.
More soon.
