About Johnathan Solorzano

In the trenches

My work sits between strategy and execution, across e-commerce, retail, warehousing and the creative work that ties them together. Things I've built or been part of directly:

  • A 40-person digital team and agency.
  • A fulfillment center, from scratch.
  • The infrastructure behind a $20M single-day event, and $100M over eight months.
  • A retail flagship build-out with 80 employees on Shopify POS.
  • Warehouse and factory operations for established brands.
  • A DTC store of my own, scaled to $10M in three years.
  • Our own agency software, with an AI assistant clients can ask where their project stands.

Some of the work

I've been fortunate to work with some of the most interesting people and brands in the world. A few I'm proud of:

  • Yeezy. Worked directly on some major launches.
  • Bianca Censori. Her website, built for her work as a performance artist.
  • Elm Biosciences. Martha Stewart's skincare brand. A wholesale portal where dermatologists apply and order, and we maintain the site as it scales into eight figures.
  • Woods by Jordyn. Jordyn Woods' brand, through the Knicks' 2026 championship run, when her orange clutch became the team's lucky bag and ended up at the Guggenheim.
  • Los Angeles Apparel. One of the largest clothing manufacturers in the US.
  • Lifelines. The new brand from the founders of Melissa & Doug. Revenue tripled after we relaunched it.
  • Fine by Me. Jewelry from creative founder Melody Ehsani. Design and build.
  • NGHTMRE. The DJ and producer's store.
  • Medik8. A custom app built to scale across every market.
  • Manukora. A brand refresh with booking built in end to end.
  • Time4Learning. A move to Shopify with complex systems, alongside their own engineers.

Also HUK, Humble Brands, Ofra Cosmetics, Sterling Forever, Wild Planet Foods, Aspen Publishing, Oilogic, Vertigo Vinyl and many more.

What's next

I love the agency and the team we've built, and we're pushing Solo Media Group to eight figures. Alongside that, I want to work with brands that are trying to change the world, consult on interesting products, and bring what I've learned to the situations where 1+1=100.

Cheers.
